I used it to hold some extra hanging files.Easy to put together. Matches well with other rattan material. Not cheap looking at all. I only gave it 4 stars bcs though it has a lining, there is no lining closure on top. Therefore when it rains, some water can still get inside as soon as the top is lifted up. Also cannot place anything heavy on top as the rattan will start to deform. The capacity holds a lot!- Weather proof lol no but sun proof. If it’s just mist or light rain your fine. If the wind blows it’s going to get things we because the walls are a weave of thin material.- Easy to put together except the gas strut. I know how they work but the directions were not clear on how to put it in. But easy to figure out but if you’re not handy it may be a issue.-Sturdiness I put at a 3 because the walls don’t stop wind or rain. Not sure I would stand on it either.- At around $200 this should be better or could be. The lid kept falling off and it seems not cheap but almost. One step above I suppose. You can do better even if you spend a little more. Seems this company just threw this together to get my money. There is no passion or care in this product sorry to say.So far very pleased with this purchase. We have had it for two weeks and within that timeframe I’ve had multiple rain storms as well as one severe thunderstorm which came with tornado warnings. Throughout it all, the contents inside of this box , which includes towels and cushions, have stayed 100% dry.We ordered the dark brown and the color as well as the material is quite attractive.So far so good !It was fairly easy to assemble. The size is right for what I need to store. But the lid keeps coming off the hinges. I can’t get it back on without help, so I hope it doesn’t rain until my husband gets home.It’s going out to the curb and I’m buying something else.The assembly instructions did not have any words. Only poorly drawn pictures with no labels. Panels were not labeled left, right, top or bottom. There no mechanical hinges, only "male to female" parts on the back panel to slide into the top. Those parts were not lined up properly. Not what I was hoping for. This item is not waterproof as it is made from plastic "rattan".If you want the hardest piece of furniture to put together, buy this ? And to make it better the screws they send strip very easily! Seems to be sturdy though, even with a couple of screws missing.This item came with no instructions. I figured out how to put it together, but couldn't figure out the device that holds up the lid, so i couldn't install that, which is the readon for 3 stars. I doubt it eill be waterproof, but time will tell.
