This battery box is sturdy, thick gauge aluminum. Nothing flimsy and doesn't flex. Welds are excellent as well. The pictures do not show that it is vented, and includes the parts that you can see in my picture. The lid clamps down very tight and is sealed with a rubber gasket. I am very happy with this battery box.
